Start by taking notes on the each of the unit PowerPoints (under the Unit 4 tab) . Then work through the practice below.

Definitions to know and be able to illustrate with examples.
  • Rate of Return (useful term for you to know)
  • Bonds (critical term used to enact monetary policy) 
  • Nominal vs Real Interest (You already know this! Real + Expected Inflation = Nominal)
  • Three purposes (uses) of money (See 4.1 PowerPoint)
